Since FLT pickups have pole screws in both coils, (normal humbucker sos have screw and slug coils) they look identical if rotated 180 degrees. Is there a correct way to orient a pair of these pickups in the guitar? Is there a recognised north and south coil? I know usually a pair of humbuckers should have the screw coils faced outwards (ie neck pickup screw coil towards the neck, bridge pickup screw coil towards the bridge). All that I have to go on is where the cable comes out from the pickup.
