We recommend using 25k potentiometer when using Roswell Active Pickup.

Active style pick-up has a very low output impedance compared to other normal passive pick-ups, resulting in a too fast volume reduction when a high value of potentiometer is used.

The effect is going to be that the pot will quickly mute the output as it is rolled down like On-Off switch.
