I'm linking the basic wiring diagram for a P-J Bass with 2 volumes and 1 tone.

I have two suggestions:

1. Since the P-Bass pickup is not our Roswell product, if the bridge JV8 pickup doesn't work, there may be cancellation of outputs between the neck and bridge pickups.
Therefore, try connecting the output wire of the PV8 pickup, which is the WHITE WIRE, to ground, and connect the BLACK WIRE, which is connected to ground, to the output for testing purposes.

2. Sometimes, mismatched capacitor values or volume settings can result in tone cutting issues.
